Account prerequisites in Trados
You need a Trados account with the appropriate access rights.
The Tridion Docs integration uses the Tridion Proxy service, which calls the Trados private APIs.
Make sure that the account your RWS representative sets up includes the following:
- The right Machine Translation Engines, if you purchased this feature.
- One of the following sets of information depending on the chosen authentication method:
- An API KEY, which you need when you configure the
TranslationOrganizer.exe.configfile in Tridion Docs prior to the 15.1 version or when you configure theappsettings.jsonfile in Tridion Docs version 15.1 or later. - The ClientId:ClientSecret:TenantId, which you need when you configure the
TranslationOrganizer.exe.configfile in Tridion Docs prior to the 15.1 version or when you configure theappsettings.jsonfile in Tridion Docs version 15.1 or later. You can get the tenant ID if you go to Trados > top right-hand corner > select your profile > select Manage Account > select Account Information, and then copy the value of the Trados Account ID field.
