Adding project comments

You can add project comments which have a minimum of 2 characters and a maximum of 3072 characters. The maximum number of comments per project is 250 (Trados Enterprise + Trados Customer Portal combined). Project stakeholders are notified when new comments are added on a project.

Procedure

  1. Open a project.
  2. Select the Conversations sub-tab.
  3. In the Enter your comment panel, add your message. At this point, you can:
    • Select a piece of text and make it bold, italicize it, or underline it.
    • Start a numbered list or a bullet list.
    • Insert a hyperlink.
    • Select Source Edit, enter your text in rich text format, and then select Source Edit again to preview it.
    • Mention another user by entering @ and the name of that user. You can mention the following users:
      • The project creator.
      • The designated Project Manager (if any).
      • The assignees of the Customer Quote Approval task (if the task is included in the project workflow).
      • The assignees of the Project Planning task (if the task is included in the project workflow).
      • Users who have the relevant permissions and who already added a project comment.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To make the comment visible for Trados Customer Portal stakeholders, select the Customer Portal visibility check box.
    • To keep the comment hidden from Trados Customer Portal stakeholders, clear the Customer Portal visibility check box.
  5. Select Add Comment.
  6. Alternatively, from the project list, select the check box of a project, and, in the right-hand side panel, select conversations icon in Trados and add your comment.
