Settings can be exported to a *.sdlprofile file. You can select the file later and the settings stored in the file will be applied to the current profile. You can also take the file with you and use it when you work on a different computer.
Procedure
- Go to .
- In the Manage User Profiles wizard, on the User Profiles page, check the profile name displayed next to Current user profile. This is the profile for which settings will be exported.
Tip: Note that the Export user settings option is selected by default. If you want to export settings from a different profile, you must switch to that profile before performing the export.
- Select Next.
- On the Export User Settings page, select Browse.
- In the Save As dialog, enter the file name you want to use for the settings file and the location to which you want to save the settings.
- Enter a name for the profile (e.g. Profile for New Users). This is the name that appears when you go to view what profile you currently have selected.
- Select Finish.
The profile file is saved and the wizard is closed.
