Your can configure a specific set of personal preferences for your account, which includes settings related to email notifications, the user interface, or translation memory matches. You can also change your password from your personal preferences.
Procedure
- In WorldServer, go to
- On the Personal Preferences page, do the following:
- Under Sending Email, select the check boxes corresponding to the actions for which you want to receive email notifications.
To receive notifications, you need to have an email address configured in your WorldServer user account and your administrator needs to turn on the notification engine.
- Under User Interface, specify numeric values for each option related to the user interface 1.
In certain cases, WorldServer may override the values that you specify as the default number of columns and rows in text fields.
- Under Translation Memory, select the minimum scores of the translation memory matches that you will be working with.
- Under MultiTerm Terminology Database, select the minimum score for which matches should be displayed and enter the maximum number of matches you want to be displayed per segment.
- Under Other, select the time zone to use in time stamps and type the command that you want your default merge tool to use if an automatic merge fails during a versioning merge and rebase action in WorldServer Explorer 2.
- Under Regional and Language Options, select the language of your WorldServer user interface and a set of regional settings to use when interacting with dates or numbers in WorldServer. For more information about regional settings, see the topic with the same name.
- Under Change Password, enter a new password, if necessary.
- Select Save.
If, at any point, you want to restore the default settings, select Restore Defaults.
1 The
How often to auto refresh pages (in seconds) option affects the
Workflow Engine Queue page, the
Background Jobs page, and the
Execution Log page for background jobs. The minimum auto refresh value is of 20 seconds; values lower than 20 are not considered valid.
Also, the How often to auto save changes (in minutes) option applies only to Browser Workbench. The page is refreshed when WorldServer saves your changes automatically. You cannot turn off auto saving; only values equal to or higher than 1 are valid.
2 By default,
WorldServer uses the Beyond Compare tool. In this box, specify the exact command that
WorldServer should execute on the files that need to be merged. For example,
bc2.exe %file1 %file2.
