Managing project types
Project types are templates for creating projects. Every time you create a project in WorldServer, you also need to select an appropriate project type. You can add, modify, or delete project types by going to Management > Business Rule Linkage > Project Types.
About project types When a user creates a project based on a project type, the project automatically inherits certain settings from it, such as translation memories, terminology databases, available locales, or processing settings.
Adding project types When you add a project type, you need to configure general settings (such as its corresponding source and target locales), processing settings (such as its corresponding file types), and settings about linguistic tools (such as its corresponding translation memories or terminology databases).
Modifying project types When you modify a project type, you can modify any of the settings that you configured when you created it.
Deleting project types You can delete a project type only if there are no active projects of that type in the system.
