A Location Page displays name, address, contact details, and a location map from Google Maps.
About this task
-
Default content
-
When you create a Location Page, a new Component is created for you containing dummy content. You can edit or replace the content.
-

-
Add a Google Map to your webpage by specifying the following metadata (you can find coordinate values in a Google Maps URL after the
@ sign):
- Latitude—Enter the latitude coordinates of the location.
- Longitude—Enter the longitude coordinates of the location.
- Query String—Optionally, enter an query string that returns the specified location when entered into Google Maps. This is used in the link to open a large map so that your location is identified in the map explicitly rather than as geographic coordinates (the default if no query string is provided).
-
Content rendering
-
When used on a page with a 1-column layout, the content includes a location, a Details section, and an interactive map that users can manipulate. Users can open the map in a lightbox (popup) using the View Large Map link in the Details section.
-
When used on a Page with 2 or 3-column layout, the content is rendered as a small map with the name of the location. No details are shown.
