Known Issues

A list of the currently known issues and how to address them.

  1. Unavailable fonts
Issue: If your Figma design contains fonts that are not available in Figma, you will get the warning message: "Attention: One or more fonts is unavailable. Resolve missing fonts and retry". In this case, the translation of the content that is displayed using the unavailable font will not be shown as translated.
Resolution: Use the Figma "Missing fonts" feature to resolve or replace the missing fonts. You can find this feature in the top-right corner of the Figma window.
  2. Language Weaver unable to process restricted characters
Issue: In some rare cases, Language Weaver is unable to process some restricted characters that might appear in a Figma design. In cases like this, you will get the warning message: "Warning : Language Weaver is unable to process some texts due to restricted characters in it."
Resolution: Identify the restricted character(s) in the node(s) you want translated, isolate them in their own node and exclude them from translation.
