Viewing Page Region properties

In the Experience Manager Web site, a border appears around the edge of the Web page. In the top right corner, open the properties to see the Page Regions available on the page, from where you can drill down to view Promotions and Content.

About this task

A Page Region is an area on a Web page where Promotions are displayed.

Procedure

  1. In the slide out navigation pane, select Editing Sites then choose a staging Web site.
  2. Select the border around the Web page and click the Properties border button at top right corner.

  3. If the Web page contains Page Regions, you see a label Page Regions with a link to these regions.
  4. Click the Page Regions link.

    • name of the Page Region
    • maximum number of items allowed in the Page Region
    • number of Promotions applied to the Page Region
    • a more button to view Page Region details
  5. Click Open Promotions to open the Promotion List.
  6. Click a Page Region more button.

    • name of the region
    • maximum number of items allowed in this region
    • a list of Promotions applied to the region
    • a more button to view Promotion details
    • number of items each Promotion is currently displaying
    • an Edit button to open the Promotion for editing
    • an Add Promotion button to create a new Promotion
  7. Click Add Promotion.

    The Define a new Promotion dialog appears:

  8. Click a Promotion more button.
    A pop-up opens showing the properties of the selected Promotion and the Content (a list of Components and Component Template) that appear in the Promotion.
