In the Experience Manager Web site, a border appears around the edge of individual content items (Components) on a Web page. A target icon appears in the left hand corner to indicate that the content comes from a Promotion.

Procedure
- In the slide out navigation pane, select
Editing Sites then choose a staging Web site.
- Hover over the items on the Web page.
The following border appears on the Web page when the content comes from a
Promotion:
- Click the
icon.
A pop-up opens showing the properties of the selected
Promotion and links to:
- Open Page Region Properties
- Open Promotions
- Click Open Page Region Properties:
A pop-up opens showing the properties of the selected
Page Region, including:
- name of the region
- maximum number of items allowed in this region
- a list of Promotions applied to the region
- a more button to view Promotion details
- number of items each Promotion is currently displaying
- an Edit button to open the Promotion for editing
- an Add Promotion button to create a new Promotion
Note: The number of items each Promotion displays depends on: Promotion ranking, the specified maximum number of items, and the maximum number of items other Promotions higher up the list have returned.
Note: When a Promotion is greyed out, it indicates that it was triggered but not shown because: the maximum number of items has been reached, it has a lower priority than other a Promotions, or it has been marked as a duplicate. You can edit these Promotion settings to have it displayed.
- Click Open Promotions to open the Promotion List.
In the Promotion List you can:
- Add a new Promotion
- Edit a Promotion
- Delete a Promotion
- Copy the Promotion
- Change the Promotion Prority
