Translation memory settings dialog box > Language resources

Use the Language Resources page of the Translation Memory Settings dialog box to modify language resources lists in the translation memory (TM). These lists are used in conjunction with the segmentation rules in translation memory processing and to identify untranslatable content. You can modify language resources settings for both source and target languages. Modifying the language resources for both the source and the target language of a TM can be useful for aligning documents.

To display the Translation Memory Settings dialog box, select the translation memory in the Translation Memories view, right-click and select Settings. Select Language Resources from the Translation Memory Settings dialog box navigation tree to display the Language Resources settings.

Template

(Server-based TMs only)

If you want to apply or change the currently applied language resource template to the translation memory, click Browse to display the Select Language Resource Template dialog box where you can select the template. When applied the template is linked to the server-based translation memory and when the language resources in the template are updated, the language resources in the translation memory are also updated.

Server-based language resource templates are multilingual, therefore when you select a template, the appropriate language resources are applied to each language you selected for the server-based translation memory.
