TM 設定の指定
翻訳メモリ (TM) の設定には、翻訳候補を得るために TM を検索する方法、100% 一致がない場合に TU に設定するペナルティ、言語リソース テンプレートを使用して TU を識別するためのフィールドなどがあります。
- Specifying translation memory search settings
You can customize the way in which search operations are performed within a translation memory (TM). - Specifying TM penalties
Use the these settings to specify how matching translation units (TUs) with formatting differences or multiple translations should be penalized. - Specifying translation memory filters and applying penalties
You can create translation memory filters and then penalize translation memory lookup results which do not match the filter. For example, if the penalty amount is set at 5%, a lookup result that is an 85% match for the document segment but which does not match the filter would have the penalty applied; as a result the match figure would be reduced to 80%. You can also choose to create a filter which excludes any results that do not match the filter. - Specifying TM custom field values
You can assign custom field values to new translation units (TUs) when updating the translation memory (TM). For example, if the TM contains a field called Usage, you could assign the value, Printed Guides to indicate that this translation should only be used for printed guides as opposed to help. - Specifying TM language resource templates
Use these settings to specify which language resource templates is used if there is no TM for a specific language pair selected for that project. The language resource template is used to define the segmentation rules and to identify untranslatable content.
