Property lists and tables

In Publication Manager, lists of objects are displayed in tables where properties can be used as sorting keys. You can add or remove properties from those tables as you see fit.

In each list, objects are displayed with a default set of properties. For example, in Publication Manager's Baseline tab, the default list of properties is, in this order:
  • Title
  • Status
  • Version
  • Newer
  • Used
  • Author
  • Date modified
  • Last modified by
  • Checked out by
  • Added by
  • Added on
  • Folder
You can add or remove property columns to this set, and change the order of the columns. Your modifications persists from a session to the next and is linked to your account (so you can find your familiar settings if you log in on any computer). These modifications will be applied to all instances of the table, whether it is opened from Publication Manager or from a XML Editor (XMetaL, oXygen, ...) You can come back to the default set of properties by the push of a button.

Among the properties you can add to a given table, you can find basic and advanced items. Advanced items usually relate to technical, often hidden, aspects of the tool, such as information about database tables.
