Changes introduced in SDL Tridion Sites 9
A list of new features and functionality that were introduced in this release.
- Product renamed to "SDL Tridion Sites"
The product, which has been called "SDL Tridion" in the past and was then renamed to "SDL Web" for its 8 and 8.5 releases, is now renamed to "SDL Tridion Sites." Together with the SDL Tridion Docs product, the two products comprise the SDL Tridion DX suite. Note that in the SDL Tridion Sites user interfaces, the product is still referred to as "SDL Web" and "SDL Web 9." - Integration between SDL Tridion Sites and SDL Tridion Docs
As of SDL Tridion Sites 9, SDL Tridion Sites can be integrated with SDL Tridion Docs (release 13 SP2 or later) to facilitate a "content mashup" --that is, putting content coming from both products together on the same webpage. - Content Manager functionality introduced in SDL Tridion Sites 9
