Step 2 - Create a Trados Customer Portal application

RWS representatives or SFK administrators must create a Trados Customer Portal application to obtain a Client ID and Client Secret.

Before you begin

  1. A user account must be created in Trados Customer Portal for use in authenticating the Umbraco connector. This account should only be used by the Umbraco connector and not by an end-user to protect against password resets. Create the user with the following settings:
    • Username: SFKA-Integration-<CUSTOMER-NAME>
    • Password: <<<use a strong, 16 digit password>>>
  2. Test the credentials: https://languagecloud.sdl.com/en/managed-translation/login

Procedure

  1. Log in to Trados Customer Portal.
  2. From the user Avatar menu, select My Applications.
  3. Create an application for the Umbraco connector.
  4. Save the Client ID and Client Secret.
