Trados Copilot - Smart Help

Trados Copilot - Smart Help (further called Smart Help) is an in-app AI capability which provides answers to your questions.

What is Trados Copilot?

Trados Copilot is the umbrella term for a set of AI capabilities powered by Trados Team. The first capability, which we launched as part of Trados Copilot, is Smart Help, which leverages conversational AI to sort through our official documentation and return relevant answers to your questions.

What is Smart Help?

The Smart Help capability sends users to this topic of the Trados Copilot documentation when asked questions similar to "Who are you?", "What can you do?".

Smart Help is an in-app AI feature which provides answers to your questions.

Smart Help is trained on our official documentation. Unlike the official documentation website which has limited search capabilities, Smart Help retrieves information fast. The results consist of short answers and associated links for more information on the question asked.

What can Smart Help do?

Smart Help works as a Question-Answer engine and is not an interactive chatbot. Moreover, Smart Help is engineered to avoid hallucinations and fabrications.

Smart Help answers one question at a time and provides a short answer to the question. In addition, after each short answer, you can click the Show citations button, which exposes snippets and direct links to the official documentation where it extracted or aggregated the answers from. Access the links to gain more in-depth knowledge about your question.

Smart Help allows you to ask questions in English and other languages. Smart Help will try to provide answers in the language you used to ask your questions.

For the first few iterations of the feature, Smart Help may provide partial answers. However, if you access the links below the answer, you will be redirected to the official documentation where more detail is provided. RWS strives at providing the most accurate information to its customers. As a result, the Smart Help feature will be retrained periodically to optimize its usage.

At the moment, Smart Help is available only for Trados Team.
