Deleting saved login information

Delete the saved login information that you no longer use.

About this task

If you have multiple sets of credentials saved for the same server, only the selected user name and password are deleted. However, if you have a single set of credentials saved for a server, the URL of the server is also deleted alongside the user name and the password.

Procedure

  1. On your desktop, select the WorldServer Explorer icon.
This icon was created by default when you installed WorldServer Explorer on your machine. If you no longer have this icon on your desktop, go to the location where you installed WorldServer Explorer (by default, C:\Program Files\WorldServer Explorer) and double-click WorldServer Explorer.exe.
  2. In the Login dialog box, in the Server URL box, specify the URL of the WorldServer instance whose saved credentials you want to delete.
Use the following pattern: <protocol>://<ws-host>/ws-legacy. For example, https://worldservername.com/ws-legacy.
  3. If you have multiple sets of credentials saved for this server, in the Username list, select the user name that you want to delete.
If you have a single set of credentials saved for this server, the user name and password are filled in automatically.
  4. Select Clear credentials.
