Viewing translation progress on the Classic interface

On the Classic interface, you can view information about the project, about the progress of the translation, and about the estimated cost of the project by selecting different buttons on the Tasks page. In the Translation Progress for Project <name> dialog box, you can configure how the translation progress is displayed, so that the information is as relevant to you as possible.

Procedure

  1. In WorldServer, go to the Projects page.
  2. Click the project about which you want to view information 1.
  3. On the Task List for Project: <name><target locale> page, select View translation progress, and then, in the Translation Progress for Project <name> dialog box, do the following:
    1. In the View list, select the measuring unit for the statistics displayed: words 2, segments, or both.
    2. Select the Counts check box if you want numbers to be displayed alongside percentages.
    3. Select the Full paths check box if you want the paths to the assets in the Asset column to be displayed.
    4. Select the Translated column check box if you also want to see statistics about already translated content 3.
1 Translation statistics are only available for tasks that have already been segmented. If a task has not passed through the Segment Asset step in the workflow, translation statistics are not available for that task.
2 Word counts are based on the number of words in the source segment.
3 The value displayed in the Translated column is the sum of the values displayed in the Reviewed, Pending Review, and In Progress columns.
