You search for objects in the repository by typing one or more search terms (the words or phrase that best describe the information you want to find) into a search box then by clicking the Search button. The search mechanism searches both object-level metadata and full-text.
Procedure
- In your XML authoring application, select.
- In the Browse Repository dialog that opens, select the Search tab.
- In the Find what field, enter your search criteria.
- By default, you only search in the latest versions of the objects in the repository. To instead search in all versions, select All versions.
- Optionally, expand Advanced Options to access options where you can type, or use the dropdown menus, to enter the desired search criteria to limit the search to a more narrow field of search criteria.
- Click Search.
A result list appears.
- The default list is sorted by relevance.
- You can click on a column header in the list to sort on a that column.
- Optionally, to conduct a new search, use the Reset button to clear data from all fields and specify new search criteria.
