Posting a ContentRoutingProject or standard Project

After the revisions to the data in a ContentRoutingProject or standard Project are completed and approved, post the modifications to all linked copies of the object in the database.

When the workflow is complete, the ContentRoutingProject or standard Project object resides on the desktop of the user assigned to the End task. This user should have permissions to post the ContentRoutingProject or Project.

You can post changes to the configuration and parent Project using the following methods.
  • Select the ContentRoutingProject or Project, select the Post List tab, select one or more objects on the Post List and click Post.
  • Select the ContentRoutingProject or Project and click Post on the Project menu.
  • reate a trigger that automatically posts the ContentRoutingProject or Project when it is sent from one task to another. This trigger is typically added to execute when the ContentRoutingProject or Project is sent to the End task.

After you have posted the ContentRoutingProject or standard Project, you can remove the ContentRoutingProject or Project from the End user’s desktop, and the configuration. If you remove the ContentRoutingProject or Project from the End user’s desktop, it remains in the configuration and must be removed separately. However, if you remove the ContentRoutingProject or Project in the configuration, the copy on the end user’s desktop is also removed.
