Translating files

You can drag and drop or browse entire source files which will get translated in their native format or another available format.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Web GUI.
  2. Log in to Language Weaver Edge using a valid account.
  3. Select Translate from the top.
  4. Select source and target languages.
  5. Select dictionary, if available.
  6. Add labels, if available.
  7. Translate files by:
    • Dragging them from an explorer window and dropping them on the Drag and Drop box (in yellow).
    • Uploading the files. An explorer window will show up, from which you can select the file(s) to translate.
    The compatible files will automatically be translated, and appear under the translation box (in blue). The incompatible files will appear under the Drag and Drop button (in pink).
  8. Select the Download button adjacent to the file name to download and view the file.

Results

With the exception of the following input formats, Language Weaver Edge default behavior is to provide the same output format as the input format. *.eml,*.gif,*.jpg, *.jpeg, *.msg, *.png, *.tiff, *.tif are translated into plain *.txt files. The default output file format for *.pdf is *.docx.
