Prerequisites for working with cloud projects

Before you start working with cloud projects from Passolo or from a browser, ensure that you have the required permissions and resources.

  • You have a cloud account with an active subscription for one of the available cloud offerings: Trados Live Team, Trados Enterprise (formerly Language Cloud Translation Management).
  • You have a cloud account with a role that enables you to access the required cloud projects and resources.
  • You are logged in to the appropriate cloud account from Passolo.
To be able to create cloud projects, make sure you also have the right permissions for your account and that you have provisioned your account with all the resources required:
  • Make sure you are member of a group with a role that has permission to create new projects and resources: Administrator, Project Manage or Lead Project Manager.
  • Set up the appropriate customer location hierarchy for your account and added all the required users.
  • Provisioned your cloud account with all the resources required to create and work on the cloud project: project locations, customers, file type configurations, translation engines (translation memories, termbases, Machine Translation connections), workflows, pricing models, vendors.   • Assign the right users to the human tasks in your workflows.
