Working with published Passolo projects in a browser

Passolo's cloud integration workflow allows you to work on projects in the Online Editor and monitor all your projects via the Dashboard.

Before you begin

Working on cloud projects requires you to first export your files from Passolo. If you haven't exported your files already see Exporting Passolo string lists to the cloud.

About this task

After the export, cloud projects automatically enter pre-processing. After pre-processing is finished, tasks have to be accepted and completed by users. To start working on a task:

Procedure

  1. Open the cloud login page in your browser, enter your credentials and click Log in.
  2. In the Projects tab, click Refresh to update your list of cloud projects.
  3. Select the project you want to work on and click Open.
  4. Go to the Inbox tab where you can see all your current and completed project file tasks. All your new project file tasks appear in the New tab. Accept them to set them to Active and start working on them.
  5. Click Refresh to see the up-to-date list of active tasks available for you.
  6. Select the cloud project file that you want to start translating and:
    • Click Open in Online Editor. This opens your project file in a separate browser tab where you can start translating in the Online Editor. All the changes you make in the Online Editor are automatically saved and synced to the cloud. For more information see Working with cloud projects from a browser.
    • Click Open in Trados Studio. This downloads your project file so you can start translating it in Trados Studio. All the changes you make in Trados Studio are automatically saved and synced to the cloud. For more information see Working with cloud projects from Trados Studio.
