Adding a Section Page

A Section Page contains four content items: a main article Component on top and underneath three items in a 3-column layout.

About this task

Default content
When you create a Section Page, new Components are created for you containing dummy content. You can edit or replace the content.
By default, the items included in the 3-column layout are from left to right:
  • a company location Component
  • the latest items Component contains a dynamic list of links to the last 5 Article Components that were created
  • the teaser Component contains an image or video and a short piece of descriptive text about the contents
Ordering and positioning of content
The Components are displayed on the Page (from top to bottom, left to right) depending on the order in which the Component Presentations are added to the Page: the first Component Presentation is displayed at the top, the second in the first column, third in the middle column, and the fourth in the third column. An exception to this rule are Component Presentations that use the [Hero] Component Template: these are always displayed on top regardless of where they appear in the list of Component Presentations.
