Adding a Section Page with Carousel

A Section Page with Carousel displays three content items: a main article Component, and two items in a 2-column layout displayed below the main article. Carousels allow multiple pieces of content to occupy a single, coveted space: the main article Component consists of several items which the carousel displays in turn one-by-one.

About this task

Default content
When you create a Section Page with Carousel, new Components are created for you containing dummy content. You can edit or replace the content. By default, the following items are included in the layout:
  • a main article Component with two items
  • a company location Component
  • the teaser Component contains an image or video and a short piece of descriptive text about the contents
Ordering and positioning of content
The Components are displayed on the Page (from top to bottom, left to right) depending on the order in which the Component Presentations are added to the Page: the first Component Presentation is displayed at the top, the second in the first column, and the third in the middle column. An exception to this rule are Component Presentations that use the [Hero] Component Template: these are always displayed on top regardless of where they appear in the list of Component Presentations.
