Using Tridion Sites with DXA
This section describes tasks relevant to individuals who use SDL Tridion Sites with DXA installed to manage the content that is published and presented on their DXA-based website.
- Using the DXA BluePrint
The DXA installation process includes the option of importing sample Publications, which make up a simple, linear BluePrint. You can integrate these Publications in your existing BluePrint and reuse existing content, or you can create a new, separate BluePrint hierarchy. - Creating SDL Tridion Sites Pages
Use SDL Tridion Sites's Experience Manager to create new pages from DXA standard Page Types. - Using content from SDL Tridion Docs on SDL Tridion Sites webpages
The DXA Tridion Docs Mashup module enables you to present structured content (in the DITA standard) together with SDL Tridion Sites content from the same DXA web application, including mixed content on the same webpage. - Managing other website content
In addition to creating the Pages for your site, you can also use SDL Tridion Sites to manage the additional content and resources used with your site's Pages, such as page includes or headers and footers. - Configuring the web application for multilingual websites
If you have set up your BluePrint to have a multilingual website, configure the web application configuration file to specify the Publications available in each website. - Integrating with social media
SDL Digital Experience Accelerator is linked to social media by links to your company social media pages in the footer, by links to shared content on social media on certain types of page, and by metadata included in the pages enables social media platforms to understand the content on your site.
