Problems at a Glance- a summary panel

The summary panel in the Content Quality Rules page keeps you informed on the system status, and any alerts.

In the side panel of the Content Quality Rules page, you can find a summary panel, where you can verify at a glance the status of the SDL Enrichsystem. In order to view and interact fully with server via the Content Quality Rules page, you need:

  • to have administrator privileges in the system so that you have full access to this page.
  • to be logged into the website for your SDL LiveContent system, and then navigate to the Content Quality Rules page from the slide-out-navigation as in figure 1.

All's well that has no alerts

When all is running well in your SDL Enrich, you will see a green icon for the Server Status with an "OK" label, and the message "No alerts to display". This message is also displayed if you have not yet added any engines to the system.

However, if there is a configuration or connection issue with one of your engines you want to know about the problem. The Server Status panel is designed to keep you informed of any problems in the system. There are two parts

  • the Server Status icon, which is only presents an error if your SDL Enrich Server is down.
  • list of Alerts, which keep you informed you about problems with a specific engine, providing you with the following information:
    • The engine affected, indicated by name
    • the time and date that the alert state was detected by the system
    • a description of the problem

When you solve a problem and the engine is back to normal, the alert for that specific problem disappears from the list. Therefore, when you have properly configured and functioning engines, you will see no alerts.
