Perform an Online Customer Review Task
Customer Review tasks can be configured for Online Review using the MultiTrans Web Editor, where your review takes place within your browser and any changes are made directly in the online document.
Procedure
- Access a project with status Customer Review via the email notification link or the Dashboard, the Projects Page or the Search list. Open the Customer Portal and select (double-click) the appropriate project.
- Click the source file to expand the view to show target files and Review buttons.
- Click the Review Online button.
- The Online Review Web Editor interface opens in a new browser tab. A side-by-side view of the original and translated text displays.
- The translated text (right-hand column) may be edited. You can also add comments or use the quality assurance features. For more information on the Web Editor, click Help in the header bar of the MultiTrans Web Editor interface.
- When you have finished your review, click the Complete button on the menu bar above the work area. Once you have clicked Complete, you cannot reopen this task. If you wish to close the Web Editor without completing the task, click Logout in the header bar instead; then you can log back into the Web Editor following steps 1-3 above.
- Depending on the configuration, you may be prompted to add additional comments and documents at this point. In this case:
- Upload any additional documents either via drag & drop or by using the Add files button and selecting the appropriate documents.
- Optionally, add any additional comments to the Notes field.
- Click Complete to complete your Customer Review task.
- The project manager is notified and the work on your project continues.
