Performing an Offline Customer Review Task
Customer Review tasks can be configured for Offline Review, where you review the document by downloading it, making any necessary changes, and re-uploading it to the server.
Procedure
- Access the a project in status Customer Review via the email notification link or the Dashboard, the Projects Page or the Search list.
- Click on the source file to expand the view to show target files and Review buttons.
- Click the download icon on the right-hand side of the target document row.
- If you do not wish to make any changes to the document, click the Offline Review button which opens the Review offline window.
- Click Accept to confirm that you wish to accept this document without changes.
- If you wish to make changes to the document, perform your edits directly in the document and save the document normally. When you have completed your corrections, click the Review Offline button.
- Upload the corrected document either via drag & drop or by using the Add Files button and selecting the document you just saved.
- Upload any additional documents also either via drag & drop or by using the Add Files button and selecting the appropriate documents.
- Enter your comments into the Notes field.
- Click Save to save your partially completed review. You need to Complete at a later date for the project manager to view your work. Click Complete to complete your Customer Review task; the project manager is notified and the work on your project continues. Click Cancel to close this window without saving.
