What issues can be caused by a roaming profile?
Issues users with roaming profiles may encounter.
Due to roaming profiles, each user's My Documents folder is created dynamically upon first usage of My Documents by a user. This means that upon login and upon creation of MultiTrans' keys and pointers, the user's My Documents did not exist, and when MultiTrans asks Microsoft Windows for the current user's My Documents folder properties, it receives an empty string. Because of this, the default folders cannot be created properly.
Some symptoms you may see when using MultiTrans are:
- Some options and preferences are not retained between usage sessions.
- The XLIFF Editor gives messages about inability to find the source document when using the Preview and Export functions.
