Configuring the Source and Target Publications
To actually configure a BluePrint for translation, you first need to define a "configuration" on the SDL Translation Management System. A configuration—referred to as the SDL TMS Client ID in the Content Manager—controls the job creation process in SDL TMS and determines, amongst others, what languages can be processed. The configuration of a Source Publication is derived directly from a configuration; it defines the "language" of the Source Publication, and allows you to specify the language of Target Publications, depending on the language pairs defined in the configuration. The single content master BluePrint requires that following configurations are defined on SDL TMS:
A configuration containing the Language Pairs EN->DE, EN->NL, and EN->FR—this configuration is needed for the English Content Publication
A configuration containing the Language Pairs NL->FR—this configuration is needed for the Belgian (Dutch) Web site Publication
