Deleting shared Process Definitions
You can only delete a shared Process Definition if:
- you have Workflow Management rights on the owning Publication of the Process Definition
- the Process Definition is not referenced from a Structure Group or Schema within the Publication or any of its Child Publications
- the Process Definition is not referenced from the Publication itself or from any of its Child Publications
- it has not been localized in a Child Publication
- there are no running Workflow Processes in the Publication or in a child Publication
For example, if you have a BluePrint structure as shown in Localizing or unlocalizing Process Definitions the following rules apply:
- You cannot delete the Process Definition in Publication A because it has been localized in a Child Publication.
- You can only delete a local Process Definition created in Publication C if there are no running instances of that Process Definition in Publications C or D, and if it is not being referenced from any Structure Group or Schema in C or D, nor from C or D themselves.
