When you add scoping configurations, you need to specify the ranges that describe the quality of a match from the translation memory.
Procedure
- In WorldServer, go to
- Select Add.
- On the Scoping Configuration: New page, specify the following information:
- In the Name box, enter the name of your scoping configuration.
This name must be unique.
- In the Description box, enter a description of your configuration.
For example, you could include information such as when users should use the configuration.
- In the Number of Ranges list, select the number of scoping ranges that you want the configuration to use (between one and five).
Important: If you select a number higher than 1, you can configure the ranges of the match percentages in the New Word/No Match and Fuzzy Matches boxes. After you save a scoping configuration, you can no longer modify its ranges.
- If necessary, in the New Word/No Match box, specify the range that represents a new word or a lack of a match during translation.
- If necessary, in the Fuzzy Matches box, specify the ranges that represent fuzzy matches.
Tip: Type only numbers. Do not type percentage signs. To create valid ranges, make sure that the end of each range is the same as the beginning of the next one.
For example:
- From 0 to less than 60 (= 59,99)
- From 60 to less than 80 (= 79,99)
- From 80 to less than 90 (= 89,99)
- From 90 to less than 100 (= 99,99)
- Select Save.
