Triggering mechanisms for AIS events
An AIS trigger is an action invoked by the occurrence of an event in the Asset Interface System, such as saving or creating content. This mechanism can act as a notification engine when changes to AIS contents are made.
For an administrator, a typical sequence of working with triggers might be as follows:
| Action | Where to perform the action |
|---|---|
| 1. Upload trigger action modules. | |
| 2. Create instances of the trigger. | |
| 3. Specify the assets to which the triggers apply. |
