Retrieving projects from Trados Customer Portal

You can retrieve completed projects in two ways: download the files to your local computer or upload the files back to their original repository.

Procedure

  1. Log in to your Trados Customer Portal account.
  2. Go to All Projects and identify the project.
  3. To download the files, do one of the following:
    • Select Download to download only the target files to your local computer.
    • Select Include Source Files to download both the target and the source files to your local computer.
    • Select Include Reference Files to download both the target and the reference files to your local computer.
    • Select Include Source and Reference Files to download the target, the source, and the reference files to your local computer.
  4. To upload the files, select Upload to Zendesk. The translated files are uploaded back to their original language folder.
    You can see a confirmation message on the project tile when upload is complete.

What to do next

  1. Go to the Manage articles section of your Zendesk account and look for the source file.
  2. Open the source file and check whether the target file is displayed in the Translation menu.
  3. Select the uploaded target translation. The file was successfully translated into the target language.
