Uploading translated documents

The RWS connector uses a polling frequency (usually set to 15 minutes) to check the status of projects in and automatically upload them when they are ready.

Procedure

  1. The RWS connector uploads the translated document.
    The state of the translation request becomes Translated.
  2. After the translated document becomes available in the Translated Document column of the All Translation Reuqests page, select the link to open the translated document.
    The RWS connector does the following:
    • Appends the language code to the document name and to the file name.
    • Updates the draft version.
    • Ensures that the document rendition is correct.
    • Copies document metadata from the source document.
    • Copies roles and sharing settings from the source document.
    • Updates the source and target relationship fields.
