Zendesk prerequisites for Trados Customer Portal

You need to know your Zendesk credentials before using the Zendesk connector.

You need a service account to the Zendesk repository, provided by the administrator. It is important to use a service account that is not used by users, to avoid password update issues. The following details will be requested by RWS during the setup stage:
  • Zendesk URL.
  • User name and password.
  • Domain name. For example, https://sdl.zendesk.com. This will be used as part of the authentication process when you will be forwarded to your Zendesk instance.
  • Languages and language codes. If you are using legacy codes (such as de, fr, or it), let us know, so that we can update the connector configuration.
