Email notification messages

You can receive several email notification messages when interacting with the cloud platform. You can receive individual notifications or aggregated notifications, but you cannot receive or configure custom notifications.

Which platform sends notification messages?

You can receive notifications from Trados Enterprise and Trados Customer Portal. The dates are displayed either in the browser time zone (by default) or in the user's preferred time zone.

When do I receive aggregated notification messages?

You can receive aggregated notification messages if all of the following conditions are observed:
  • The notifications have the same event type. The supported event types are:
    • The task is assigned to the user
    • The task is rejected by the user
    • The task assignment is removed from the user
    • The task a user accepted is assigned to another user
    • The task is assigned to a group and one of the users in the group accepts it
    • The task due date has changed
    • The task due date is approaching
    • The task is overdue
  • The notifications concern the same account tenant (account ID).

The system checks if all the conditions above are observed every 10 minutes and sends users one aggregate notification message.

You cannot choose what kind of notification messages you get, but you can control whether or not you want to receive email notifications. For more information, see Enabling or disabling email notifications.

  • Your username

  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
2.Customer requesters create a project in Trados Customer Portal
  • Users who created the project in Trados Customer Portal
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that a project was created successfully
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
3.Administrators, lead project managers, project managers complete a project in Trados Enterprise and files are available for download
  • Users who created the project in Trados Enterprise
  • Users who created the project in Trados Customer Portal
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that a project was finished successfully
  • File information
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
4.Administrators, lead project managers, project managers or customer requesters change the project due date
  • Assignees of the Project Planning task

  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that a project has a new due date
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, original due date, new due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
5.The project is nearing its archival date
  • Assignees of the Project Planning task
  • Project Creator user

6.The project due date is close
  • Assignees of the Project Planning task (24h before the due date)
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that a project is due in 24h
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
7.The project due date is overdue
  • Assignees of the Project Planning task (on the due date at the due time)
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that a project is overdue
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the project
8.Administrators, lead project managers, project managers add new files to the project
  • Users who added the files
  • Assignees of the Project Planning task

  • The confirmation that new files were added to an existing project successfully
  • Project details: name, location, language pairs, due date, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)

9.Customer Requesters can download translated files in Trados Customer Portal for one language pair or all language pairs

Email notifications about tasks and assignments

  • The comment of the previous task (if comment is available)
  • Task details: project name, task name, due date, customer, words, custom fields (if the custom fields are configured as visible)
  • A link to the task
2.Administrators, lead project managers, project managers assign a task to member users or reassign a task to member users
  • Specific member users
  • Removed assignees (in the case of reassignment)

  • A confirmation that you are assigned to a task and that you must accept it to start working on it
  • The comment of the previous task (if comment is available)

  • Specific vendor users

4.A task assignee accepts the task and becomes the task owner

2.A subscription is terminated
  • Users who registered for a paid subscription
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that you no longer have access to the application, because your subscription expired
  • A link to your account where you can renew or upgrade your subscription
3.A subscription is blocked
  • Users who registered for a paid subscription
The notification includes:
  • Your username
  • The account which sent the email
  • The confirmation that you no longer have access to the application because the payment failed
  • A link to your account where you can update payment information or retry the payment
4.A subscription is suspended
  • Users who registered for a paid subscription
The notification includes:
  • Your username

  • The confirmation that you no longer have access to the application, because you used the total number of MT characters
  • A link to your account where you can upgrade your subscription
5.A subscription is successfully renewed
