Rescheduling workflow tasks for started projects

You can reschedule the human tasks of started projects at any time.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Trados Enterprise (by accessing this link: http://languagecloud.sdl.com/lc).
  2. Go to the Projects view.
  3. Select the check box corresponding to the project of interest and select Open.
  4. To reschedule a workflow task which is in progress:
    1. Select the Stages sub-tab, and then select the list view (The icon corresponding to the List view.) or tiles view (The icon corresponding to the Tiles view.).
    2. Select the check box corresponding to the task of interest, and then select Reschedule Task.
    3. Edit the due date and time, and then select Save.
    4. If your vendor order template is configured for more than one target language, and a only one vendor quote is generated for these languages, the due date, which is displayed in the project Stages tab for the Vendor Quote Review and Vendor Quote Approval tasks, will be the due date configured for one of the target languages (usually the due date of the first target language you configure). RWS recommends that you set the same due date for all target languages included in a vendor order template, unless you have a strong reason not to.
  5. To reschedule a current or future workflow task,
    1. Select the Workflows sub-tab.
      • Apply the same date to all the future tasks (of the same type as the selected one) and all theirs languages. Select a task and expand the Assign task menu. Edit the due date if necessary. Then, hover over a target language row, go to the end of the row and from the menu select Apply Due Date to all languages. Note that future tasks refer to the tasks that are created if new files are added to the project.
      • Apply the same date to all languages in a given task (the selected task), for both the current tasks (in the current batch) and the future tasks (in the next/future batch or batches). Select a task and expand the Assign task menu. Edit the due date if necessary. Then, hover over a target language row, go to the end of the row and from the menu select Apply Due Date to all languages and Current Tasks.
