Adding termbase comments

When you add a comment to a terminology entry, the comment must be between 2 and 3072 characters long. The maximum number of comments per entry is 250.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Trados Enterprise by accessing this link: https://cloud.trados.com.
  2. Go to the Resources view and select Linguistic Resources > Termbases OR select the Terminology view from the main menu, and then select Termbases.
  3. Select the name of the appropriate termbase to open it.
  4. Select the terminology entry to which you want to add comments.
  5. Expand the Activity panel, and then select The terminology comments icon..
  6. In the Enter comment box, add your message. At this point, you can:
    • Select a piece of text and make it bold, italicize it, or underline it.
    • Start a numbered list or a bullet list.
    • Insert a hyperlink.
    • Select Source Edit, enter your text in rich text format, and then select Source Edit again to preview it.
    • Mention another user by entering @ and the name of that user. You can mention the following users:
      • The users in the default Terminologists group.
      • Task owners and task assignees whose tasks use that particular termbase.
  7. Select Add comment.
